Our Backpacking Gear Rental service offers a budget-friendly way to get out on the trail without the upfront cost of buying equipment. Whether you're new to backpacking or just exploring your options before investing in gear of your own, we’ve got you covered. We offer a range of essential items including backpacks, sleeping bags, tents, and sleeping pads at accessible rates.
We offer a variety of sleeping pads (more than what’s shown in photos), including both inflatable and foam options, with different temperature ratings (R-values) to suit your trip. Sleeping pads or pad combinations are handed out by your guide at check-in, with adequate R-values based on the projected weather for your trek. Because of this, more pads are available for rent during the warmer months. All sleep pads are standard length and width and work well for most participants. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your trip’s start time to pick up your sleeping pad and get ready for your adventure.
